We had a wonderful night at the Tanner's home! Great fellowship, a yummy spread of food, and, of course, an excellent lesson in empenada making by Adrianna herself! I think we would have made Juanita proud!
Our first round of empenadas...A few unique ones in the batch. The question is, who made that really interesting one? Rachel or Kristi? I think that that one was Rachel's!!!

This is serious work here...all eyes on Glenn! (It makes you think that the men worked hard in the kitchen all night...this was not the case, well, it was for Brent...but, the other hubbies, that's another story)!
John giving it a try! And I have to admit his were better than mine!It was so fun connecting with just the adults. We are so blessed to be able to share such a sweet friendship with one another. To be able to laugh, cry, share our lives as it relates to Colombia, adoption, and our children, is a gift from God. MIL GRACIAS, Adrianna and Jeff!!! Adrianna, maybe next fall we can convince you to give us a lesson in making another yummy Colombian dish!!!
